​​​​Houston Center in downtown HoustonHOUSTON – The largest property in the Central Business District, Houston Center, has a new owner.

Buyer Brookfield Asset Management price was approximately $875 ​​million, said Globe St. sources.​

Houston Center is a 4.2 million-sf urban office and retail complex, which comprises three high-rise office towers and a 16-story office building atop 196,000 sf of retail. ​

Currently 71.6 percent leased, the property’s largest tenants include LyondellBasell Chemical Company, Norton Rose Fulbright, and Haynes and Boone.
