TSTC’s fourth campus adding industrial tech

​​ABILENE – Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is adding its fourth Abilene campus on property bought from the city earlier this year along Navajo Trail.

The new facility, which is being called the Abilene Industrial Technology Center, will be just one of a planned campus of interconnected buildings once TSTC is finished.​

To build the school, TSTC secured money from the Legislature through a tuition-based bond.

TSTC currently has three campuses in Abilene—the main one at 650 East Hwy. 80, its culinary school at 901 N. First St., and its aviation maintenance building at the airport.

Currently,​ the project is on schedule to open ​in fall 2018.
