Cedar Port openings: Ravago, IKEA, Vinmar

​​​​​BAYTOWN – Another section of the Cedar Port Industrial Park is set to open in the new year, but work is to be expected throughout 2018.

Updates on developments in the industrial park include:

• Ravago,​ a plastics distribution giant, purchased 170 acres at Cedar Port, where they will soon open a 700,000-sf warehouse​ and administration office.

• IKEA is working on two 500,000-sf rail-served warehouses that they leased; the company moved into one warehouse during first quarter 2017, and the second is underway.

• Vinmar International is developing a 500,000-sf rail-served industrial facility on a 40-acre site on Sutton Rd. that is set to open in second half of 2018.
