​​​​​​​​A Cardone Industries sign in Harlingen.HARLINGEN – CARDONE Industries—which manufactures aftermarket automotive parts—will construct a new distribution center in the city’s industrial park.

The state-of-the-art facility will be the largest industrial project to break ground in Harlingen history.

Construction will begin in early December 2017 at 815 FM 509, and the facility should be completed by December 2018.

The new distribution center is intended to support growing production at the company’s manufacturing facilities.

One manufacturing facility is located just across the US/Mexico border in Matamoros, and will be built with the capacity for future expansion as needed.​​
