Medistar tower’s mid-2018 groundbreaking

​​​​HOUSTON – Medistar—a health care-focused developer—will develop a 25-story health care tower in the Texas Medical Center at 6700 Main St.

Medistar will break ground on the 550,000-sf health care tower in the second or third quarter 2018.

Construction is expected to take two years to build.

​​The tower will be connected via a skybridge to Medistar’s joint hotel-multifamily development underway at 6750 Main St.
