UTA neighbor: 8Four8 Mitchell for students

​​​​​ARLINGTON – A Dallas joint venture have announced plans is planning luxury apartment complex next to the University of Texas at Arlington campus.

The project—8FOUR8 Mitchell—will provide 298 luxury apartment homes for up to 687 students.

Cost of construction only is $32 million, according to TDLR​. Completion is expected by July 2019.​

The new community will be constructed near the on-campus Centennial Court apartment, across from UTA’s Administration Building, and directly adjacent to Doug Russell Park.

The 5.1-acre property will consist of:

• 687 bedrooms including one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom apartments and townhouses;

• ​an expansive 9,000-sf clubhouse with strength training and cardio center; and

• multiple private study rooms.

The two companies developing the project in the joint venture are Fountain Residential Partners and HC2 Capital LLC.​​
