Five campus transformations for El Paso Community College
EL PASO – El Paso Community College plans to build new facilities and make improvements at five of its campuses.
In March 2017, EPCC’s board of trustees approved the use of $255 million for its campus transformation plan for campus upgrades and to address overcrowding.
A new workforce building, lab and classroom building will be built at the Valle Verde campus.
The Rio Grande campus will get a seven-floor parking garage building, with parking on lower floors and classrooms and labs on the upper floors.
The Northwest, Mission del Paso and Transmountain campuses will also see new classroom buildings added.
According to an EPCC spokesperson, college enrollment is currently about 29,000 and is expected to grow.
