Ikea inks 1 million-SF warehouse lease in Baytown
BAYTOWN – Ikea has inked a 1 million-sf lease for its new customer-fulfillment center, located within two buildings at Cedar Port Industrial Park.
Swedish furniture retailer will hire 200 employees to staff the new facility, which is the fourth Ikea fulfillment center in Texas.
The projects complement Ikea’s network of five regional distribution centers to deliver products to online shoppers and those purchasing larger furniture items at a store.
