MISSOURI CITY – Minnesota-based Best Buy will occupy a 550,000-sf facility at 636 US 90A at the corner of Cravens Rd. and US 90.
The facility will create at least 40 full-time jobs and should be operational in the second half of 2018.
Best Buy was wooed in-part by a competitive incentives package from Missouri City and Fort Bend County that offered a ten-year tax abatement.
The new facility will serve as a delivery distribution center for larger products, such as televisions and kitchen appliances, that can’t go through a standard conveyer system.
The distribution facility will also beef up Best Buy’s online delivery services which have increased 25 percent since 2015.
