​​An aerial map of the land bought by GreyStreet Partners.SAN ANTONIO – GrayStreet Partners​ has closed on its purchase of the Austin Street bus depot complex from the San Antonio Independent School District.

The key piece of real estate will feature prominently in GrayStreet Partners planned 23-acre mixed-use redevelopment of the historic Government Hill neighborhood.

The Austin Street complex is a nearly seven-acre area roughly bound by Austin St. to the east, North Alamo St. to the west, East Grayson St. to the north and Casa Blanca St. to the south. 

The planned the mixed-use development east of Broadway St. and the Pearl will feature office space, residential housing, retail, entertainment, culinary offerings and pocket parks.

GrayStreet has not announced a timetable for the project or released renderings or a site map of the proposed development.
