Mission possible for Black & Decker

​​​​MISSION – Black & Decker has signed a lease for 270,000 sf of manufacturing space.

The toolmaker plans to invest $25 million ​​into the facility, which will create up to 420 jobs. 

Both the city and Hidalgo County have pledged incentive packages worth a total of $700,000 over five years.
