Stubbornly low Inventory ha​s led to steadily climbing prices. 

In August's report from the San Antonio Board of Realtors, the average and median sale prices increased to $​252,613 and $218,400 respectively. 

The top ten San Antonio-area towns for the most expensive median home values include:​​

  • ​​​No. 1 – Olmos Park at $653,300
  • No. 2 – Shavano Park at $569,700
  • No. 5 – Garden Ridge at $422,300
  • No.​ 10 – Helotes at​ $254,600
