Park it! El Paso Airport’s new $46M complex
EL PASO – The $46 million consolidated rental car complex at El Paso International Airport should be finished by the end of the year and opened in March 2016.
The three-story building and garage will provide space for rental cars and rental agencies.
"The new facility on the west side of the airport terminal is on an 18-acre site," said R. Shane Brooks. "In the old lot, the rental agencies operated out of 297 spaces, the new facility will have 800 spaces."
The new facility is connected to the terminal by a covered walkway.
As designed, the ConRAC will feature areas for car rental pick up and returns, car cleaning, and car maintenance.
It also will have a car-storage area and unique artwork in the facility’s core interior. The main building alone, not including the garage, will be about 9,000 sf.
