​​CNPC's logoKATY – A Houston-based subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corp. is building a new, 34,864-sf technology and innovation center in Ten West Crossing Business Park. 

Construction on the single-story building is scheduled to wrap up fall 2017, and will initially employ between 20 and 25 employees—a figure that is expected to grow.

Over the next ten years, the project’s total investment is estimated to be between $12 million and $15 million.

Phase one of the project includes 8,600 sf of office space and a 19,464-sf air conditioned crane-served manufacturing space. 

Phase two includes building out a new 5,400-sf chemical laboratory as well as additional support space.
