DALLAS-FORT WORTH – Third quarter 2017 marks the 28th consecutive period of positive net absorption for the North Texas industrial market, according to CBRE's latest DFW Industrial MarketView report.
Industrial demand roared back in 3Q 2017 to nearly 8.2 million sf, which is the second highest absorption observed this cycle after 3Q 2016.
The majority of absorption can be attributed to consumer goods, ecommerce and logistics companies.
Buildings delivered in 3Q 2017 were 60.3 percent preleased and accounted for over one third of the quarterly absorption.
