HOUSTON – Fort Bend County Officials and Fair Association Board Directors celebrated the grand opening of the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds’ newly completed George Pavilion.
The 86,000-sf facility, located at 4310 Texas 36 in Rosenberg, is approximately twice as large as the previous space and the seating capacity more than doubled.
The $3.96 million pavilion features:
- a higher level of lighting;
- improved air circulation;
- heating over the arena and bleacher area;
- new concession, restrooms, and offices;
- a concrete slab throughout for versatile mixed-use capability; and
- a new public parking lot.
