DENISON, GRAYSON COUNTY – Oklahoma-based HeyDay Entertainment will open a 50,000-sf location within the 200,000-sf Shops at Gateway Village.
The entertainment center will add to the 650-acre Gateway Village master-planned community.
Located off of FM 691 and US 75, the project promises to invest more than $10 million and provide about 130 jobs once it’s finished in fall 2018.
The 50,000-sf center will include:
- a 16-lane bowling alley;
- a ropes course;
- mini golf;
- a bar and grill; and
- a two-story laser tag arena.
Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille was one of the options the city was looking at. They were not chosen, but announced that they’re building in Denison anyway, promising 150 jobs, a $15 million investment and taking no taxpayer cash.
The Schulman’s project would be just a mile up Hwy. 75 on Crawford street.
