​​This rendering draft shows what the San Antonio Light building could look like after redevelopment.SAN ANTONIO – CaptureRx will relocate its corporate headquarters into the former San Antonio Light building in the middle of the Broadway corridor, which is slated to receive a $43 million makeover as part of the 2017 bond.

The 1931 Spanish Colonial Revival building, located at 420 Broadway St, was home to the San Antonio Light until the 112-year-old newspaper closed in 1993.

The 3.13-acres lot includes the historic Light building, the adjacent Print building and the parking lot, as well as two nearby historic buildings and two parking lots.

GrayStreet Partners, which owns the entire city block that contains the Light building as well the adjacent property just to the south, plans to develop the site into 76,000 sf of upscale office space.
