AUSTIN – Here is a roundup of breaking real estate deals and announcements in the area from the Austin Business Journal:
- Condor Hospitality Trust Inc. purchased the Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Airport at 3201 Caseybridge Ct. adjacent to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
The sale was part of a two-property portfolio transaction—a Fairfield Inn & Suites in El Paso.
An announcement issued by Condor shows the real estate investment trust paid $38.8 million for both properties.
- The Trees—a 12-unit apartment property at 807 Blanco St. near the intersection of West Sixth St. and Lamar Blvd.—was sold.
Built in 1969, the small multifamily property was most recently valued at $1,670,400 for tax purposes.
- Enterprise Rent-A-Car leased a 49,246-sf retail pad at 5350 W. Hwy. 290 in Dripping Springs about 30 minutes south of Austin.
- Origen Biomedical Inc., a small medical device manufacturer based in Austin, leased 42,604 sf at Center at Colorado Crossing, 7000 Burleson Rd.
- Titan Developers LLC purchased a 25,000-sf new construction office/flex building in Scottsdale Crossing Phase III in Leander at 1505 Volta Dr.
