The campus at 3115 Majestic Dr. will be built in two phases, and will be ready for the 2018-19 school year.

The first phase involves a 50,000-sf building to house students in pre-K through fifth grade for up to 654 students, and building a soccer field and will cost roughly $12 million, IDEA Construction Director Joe Vela said.

The second phase will be the campus’ preparatory building, which will hold students in grades six through 12.

Once complete, the campus will have two soccer fields, a separate cafeteria and a wood-floor gym.

IDEA Public Schools is working on four additional campuses, two in Austin and two in El Paso.
