PLANO – Texas Instruments’ old 85-acre campus on US Hwy. 75 and Legacy Dr. is being turned into a state-of-the-art corporate workplace.

"We saw this as an opportunity to take a bunch of boring flat big buildings and make something really cool out of it," said Eric Fleiss, CEO of Los Angeles-based Regent Properties, which bought the 85-acre campus about 18 months ago.

"We hid all the ’80s brown brick," said Fleiss.

"You look out now and see color."
With almost 1 million sf of office space in four separate buildings, Legacy Central is almost as large as a downtown skyscraper.

Work has finished on a 25,000-sf fitness and sports center with a full-size basketball court and an outdoor swimming pool.

A conference center is being built across the courtyard in one of two 200,000-sf office buildings opening soon in the first phase.Rendering of finished Legacy Central
