​​​​Pictured is a rendering of the layout of the baseball complex.​McALLEN – The city’s $11 million Youth Baseball Complex is scheduled to be completed November 2017, Parks and Recreation Director Mike Hernandez announced.

The McAllen Youth Baseball Complex​​ i​s located at the corner of 29th St. and Auburn Ave. 

The facility will feature 11 baseball fields, with the potential for development of one additional field as a Miracle Field, which would comply with ADA standards. 

According to Hernandez, concrete foundation for the concessions and ticket booths was complete, and plumbing work and wall construction are in progress.

Storm and sewer lines are 95 percent complete while water is 60 percent finished. 

Field lights, which will allow for games to be played at night, are nearly done, Hernandez said.
