HOUSTON – Electric power company NRG is moving its local offices into the 50-story tower at 910 Louisiana in the downtown district. For years, the building has been known as One Shell Plaza.
NRG will vacate its existing offices in the GreenStreet mixed-use complex in downtown, where it occupies about 250,000 sf of office space.
The consolidation move will occur in spring 2018.
One Shell Plaza was the first major skyscraper developed by master developer Gerald D. Hines. The 1.6 million-sf tower was completed in 1971.
