SAN ANGELO – After nearly a year of renovations, the Pearl on the Concho is slated to open in February. The long-vacant hotel is located at 333 Rio Concho Dr. in downtown San Angelo.

Amenities include

  • 164 rooms,
  • 4,000-sf banquet room,
  • 1,000-sf banquet room,
  • indoor arcade,
  • miniature golf,
  • The 333 Restaurant and Hideaway Saloon and
  • expansive VIP room.

The hotel’s indoor pool has been enlarged and is ready for water.

David Robertson and Leon Burk bought and began renovating the former Holiday Inn Holidome (also known in earlier years as the Holiday Inn Solardome hotel).

Robertson also decided to add elevators so handicapped guests can access the hotel’s restaurant and saloon.

The restaurant, saloon and remaining rooms are scheduled to open this spring, he said.

Robertson estimated the total cost of the project at $3.5 million.

The San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo is slated for Feb. 13 – March 1, 2015.

"We are Rodeo ready! The Pearl on the Concho is still a work in progress but if you don’t mind a little construction, we will knock your boots off with our Rodeo Rates!"
