FISCHER, COMAL COUNTY – El Rancho Cima, a 2,382-acre former Boy Scout camp about 20 miles west of San Marcos, is on the market for $24.5 million.
The property skirts the Edwards Plateau, on a bucolic stretch of Ranch Road 32 about 20 miles west of San Marcos, and has more than 7,000 ft. of frontage along the north and south sides of the Blanco River.
The sale of the former camp is generating widespread interest—as well as an impassioned campaign by neighbors and former Scouts to preserve the land.
