KATY – Katy Independent School District’s new $70 million Legacy Stadium is ready to show off.
The new 12,000-seat Legacy Stadium spans 43 acres and is located at 1830 Katyland Dr.
The complex contains:
- a 1,500-sf video scoreboard;
- a fieldhouse with offices, meeting rooms, and locker rooms;
- a large event space, which can be split into three rooms;
- concession stands and seating;
- a grassy area for fans to sit and watch the game;
- two separate elevators;
- The police headquarters;
- a press box;
- a film box;
- two event spaces.
The complex will also host summer camps, banquets, concerts, movie nights and more.
