HOUSTON – A Houston-based charter network, Yes Prep, welcomed its inaugural class of approximately 160 sixth-grade students.
The 101,000-sf campus, which was a hospital that underwent a rapid transformation, will serve students grades six through 12.
The reconstructed campus remains a work in progress—the gym, permanent cafeteria and many future classrooms are not open.
