​​​​​TRAVIS, WILLIAMSON COUNTY – Home appraisals are up by 6 to 8 percent in both Williamson and Travis counties in 2017.

This year, the average property values rose by about 8 percent in Williamson County and about 6 percent in Travis County.

Between 2016 and 2017, the average Travis County home rose in value from $285,332 to $307,997. 

In Williamson County, the average home’s value increased from $247,848 to $268,736.
