WACO – Waco’s second Harmony public charter school opened August 21, 2017, and the campus is already bursting at the seams in terms of student enrollment.
Teachers and staff have started moving in to set up classrooms in the former H-E-B grocery store building at the corner of Valley Mills Dr. and Dutton Ave.
The campus will accommodate 504 seventh through 12th-grade students in its first year.
The campus has about 28 classrooms.
Harmony Public School officials bought the 47,000-sf building August 2016 and broke ground on the campus March 30, 2017.
It is the 49th Harmony Public School campus in Texas.
