​​​​​​​LONGVIEW – Plans for a new rehab hospital have grown in scope, and it is expected to bring more jobs and capital investment to Longview.

Construct​ion on Everest Rehabilitation Hospital—an all-inclusive inpatient facility—is on target for September or October 2017.

The 36-bed hospital will have 140 to 150 professional staff members when it opens and is fully operational. 

The hospital will offer physical rehabilitation, occupational therapy and speech therapy and the hospital would focus on brain injury, stroke and concussion patients.

The hospital will consist of 37,780 sf with construction taking between 11 and 13 months, weather permitting.

Everest Rehabilitation Hospital LLC and the annexation area are immediately north of East Loop 281, east of Tryon Rd. and west of Hollybrook Dr.​
