DFW AREA – North Texas ranked as the No. 2 submarket for megawatt (MW) absorption in North America based on net absorption with 27 MW absorbed in first half 2017, according to JLL’s latest 2017 Data Center Outlook.
A surge of leasing activity by Fortune 1000 companies—as well as one rapidly growing cloud provider—during the first half 2017 in DFW has helped the region reach an all-time high for absorbed data center space.
In addition, Austin-San Antonio market No. 4 with 20.5 MW absorbed, and Houston ranked No. 18 with one MW absorbed.
