​​​Construction will begin in the fourth quarter of 2017 on the Camden Downtown apartment project.HOUSTON – Camden Property Trust announced plans to break ground in fourth quarter 2017 on its stalled Camden Downtown apartment project after a two-year delay

The first phase of the $125 million project—formerly known as Camden Conte—will be a 21-story apartment tower featuring 271 units, and was designed by Houston-based Ziegler Cooper Architects.

The tower will rise on part of a three-acre site bounded by La Branch St., Bell St., Austin St., and Pease St. near the Toyota Center.
