WalletHub: Investors flip for El Paso homes

​​​​​EL PASO – ​​​​Sun City ranked first on WalletHub’s list of 2017’s best places to flip houses. 

​​Other cities in the t​op ten include Sioux Falls, S.D.; Fort Wayne, Ind.​​; Peoria, Ariz.; Oklahoma City, Okla.​​; Tampa​, Fla.; Grand Rapids​, Mich.; Boise, Idaho; Greensboro, N.C.; and Springfield, ​Mo.

Lubbock was the only other​​​ Texas city in the top 20, ranking 12th. 

To compile the list, Wallet​Hub’s analysts compared the 150 largest U.S. cities in 22 key indicators of market potential, cost, and quality of life.​

According to RealtyTrac, home flipping is at its highest rate since 2007. ​The average gross flipping profit in 2016 was $62,624.
