COLLEGE STATION – Nearly two years to the day since plans for the $245 million student-housing project at 503 George Bush Dr. were officially unveiled, Park West has opened.
The 2.2 million-sf public-private partnership, initiated by the Texas A&M University System, ranks as the largest student-housing development of its kind in the nation. It includes an eight-story building, two five-story buildings, and 12 three-story townhomes.
The Weitz Company built the 50-acre project, which was developed by Servitas.
Developers will add more retail and dining options on ten acres nearby at the intersection of Penberthy Rd. and George Bush Dr.
