NEW BRAUNFELS – Koontz Corporation has broken ground on the first phase of Sundance Plaza, a 120,000-sf Class A office development

This first phase, which will be a 58,574-sf office building, is set to be completed in first quarter 2018. Cost of construction and site work is estimated at $3 million, according to TDLR.

The ten acres of land Sundance Plaza will sit on a portion of a larger master-planned mixed-use project called Sundance Park, centralized at 2049 Sundance Pkwy.—less than a mile from the bustling I-35.

San Antonio-based Chesney Morales Architects and New Braunfels' Legacy Commercial have been brought on for the project's design and leasing, respectively.

A report released in May 2017 by the U.S. Census Bureau ranked New Braunfels as the ninth-fastest growing city in the United States, and clearly, developers are taking notice.
