​WILMER – A Dallas developer working in partnership with a Japanese investor is finishing up work on two major industrial buildings off I-45 south of Dallas.

Aerial view of Southpark Logistics ParkDallas’ Port Logistics Reality and Diamond Realty Investments, built the 1.5 million-sf Southport Logistics Park in Wilmer.
The big warehouses are the first phase of a 531-acre business park the two firms are building.
The first 1.08 million-sf building was finished February 2017, and construction on the second—a 395,099-sf warehouse opened in July 2017.​
The project is near Union Pacific Railway’s intermodal facility and the FedEx Ground hub in I-45.
