SAN ANTONIO – The 224,262-sf Legacy Oaks medical office complex, adjacent to the South Texas Medical Center, was purchased by Velocis, a Dallas-based private equity real estate manager.
The seven-building Class A complex recently underwent extensive capital improvements.
It is currently 75 percent leased by a mix of health care providers; tenants include Baptist Health System, MEDNAX, BB&T, and the Center for Health Care Services.
Besides physical enhancements, Velocis also plans to bring in new management and refresh the complex’s leasing strategy.
