DALLAS – Tire and wheel retail giant Discount Tire plans to begin construction on a massive warehouse and distribution hub in southern Dallas.
The tire company will break ground on its new 700,000-sf facility at 9901 Bonnie View Rd. by the end of July 2017. It will serve 950 neighborhood retail store locations throughout the Lone Star state and surrounding states.
The tire company plans to transfer some of its employees from its existing facility in Grand Prairie to the new southern Dallas hub upon completion of construction, which is slated for completion early 2019.
