A mixed use project development is soon to break ground and will be called Tobin Estates. SAN ANTONIO – The 44 acres of prime real estate inside Loop 410 once belonging to the endowment of local philanthropist Robert Tobin will soon house a 272-unit mixed-use development called Tobin Estates.

The $32 million project by Dallas-based Rosewood Property Co., was bought from the Tobin Endowment in October 2016,

The project is expected to break ground in October 2017 and will be completed by April 2019.

The four-story development will be built by Memphis-based architecture firm LRK and will feature a pool court, fitness center, parking garage and a roof terrace, according to public records.
