HOUSTON AREA – Home prices and sales volume reached new heights in June, keeping 2017 on track to be a record year for Houston real estate, according to the latest monthly report produced by the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR).
The greatest sales gains took place among homes priced from $750,000 and above, followed by homes in the $150,000 to $249,999 range.
June 2017 was the eighth straight month that the luxury segment enjoyed rising sales.
Single-family home sales totaled 8,414, the greatest one-month volume of all time.
Townhome and condominium sales increased again in June, edging up 1.2 percent with a total of 678 units sold.
