Cinnamon Shore to quadruple in size
PORT ARANSAS – Texas Gulf Coast getaway Cinnamon Shore has unveiled plans for its next phase: a $1.3 billion, 300-acre expansion project that will take 15 to 20 years to complete.
The family-friendly vacation community on 60 acres is a mix of rentals and owner-occupied vacation homes that range from $600,000 to $2.5 million.
The community has beach access, two swimming pools, a casual poolside cafe, and an upscale restaurant that is open for dinner.
The expansion plan will dramatically increase Cinnamon Shore’s footprint by expanding the beachfront by 3,300 feet.
Additionally the new plan will feature multiple swimming pools and lakes, a mile-long boardwalk dozens of restaurants, retail, a spa, hotel, and new homes.
Phase II will span both sides of SH 361, the main thoroughfare on the island, and will be connected by a golf cart bridge.
The Cinnamon Shore boutique hotel expects to debut in 2018. Plans to start building phase II homes will be in 2018.
