USAA expansion at Legacy location

​PLANO – San Antonio-based company USAA is expanding its high-tech campus located east of the Dallas North Tollway on Legacy Dr.

The insurer and financial services firm USAA—which serves members of the military and their families—already has about 400 people working in the two-building complex it owns at 5601 Legacy Dr.

The company has filed plans with the city for an additional four-story building with more than 150,000 sf, to be constructed adjacent to the existing offices.

The 255,000-sf campus at Legacy and Parkwood would eventually house 700 workers and will include a 719-space parking garage.

The $3 billion Legacy West development on the west side of the tollway has new offices for Toyota, FedEx Office, Liberty Mutual Insurance and JPMorgan Chase that will house more than 20,000 workers.​
