HOUSTON – Almost a year after launching a $48.5 million top-to-bottom renovation, the Allen Center, a roughly 3 million-sf office complex in downtown Houston, nabbed a namesake anchor tenant for one of its three buildings.
Motiva Enterprises LLC, a downstream company, renewed and expanded its lease in One Allen Center to occupy 204,500 sf.
The 204,500-sf lease is a 15 percent increase of Motiva’s Houston footprint.
Motiva’s new expanded space will include a private outdoor balcony, a conference center floor and a lobby and reception center.
Allen Center is located at Smith St. and Dallas St. The property includes One Allen Center and Two Allen Center, which are both nearly 1 million sf and stand at 34 and 36 stories, respectively, as well as Three Allen Center, which is nearly 1.2 million sf and 50 stories.
