Heights Hospital under new care

​​​HOUSTON – ​​AMD Global LLC has partnered with Medical Center Developments to purchase The Heights Hospital.

The 192,077-sf, six-floor hospital on 3.9 acres at 1917 Ashland St. has been home to St. Joseph Medical Center, which will remain a tenant.​

Major renovations are underway with completion expected mid-September.

Expanded services will include labor and delivery, a neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric offices, a full orthopedics center, and a wound-care center. A full-service restaurant, called West 19th Grille, will be within the hospital.​​​
