Former Encana campus sells for $123.3 million

​PLANO – The former Encana regional campus in Legacy Business Park has been sold to Dallas-based TIER REIT Inc. for $123.3 million.​​

The 12-story, 319,000-sf office tower at 5851 Legacy Circle was developed by KDC in 2012. It is fully leased to Encana Corp., which has closed its North Texas operations. About 88 percent of the energy firm’s space has been subleased.

As part of the acquisition, TIER REIT will assume a $66 million mortgage loan.
