Houston senior living construction underway

​KINGWOOD – The second phase of a senior living facility in Kingwood is underway due to high demand.

Watercrest at Kingwood phase II broke ground at 24129 Winford Square Dr. on June 9, 2017 with estimated completion by summer 2018.

The project will have 73 senior independent living units in a three-story building, in addition to 28 assisted-living units in an attached single-story wing, and 25 of the assisted-living units will have private patios.

Pre-leasing for phase II will start early fall 2017 and the building permits filed with the City of Houston indicate it will cost $9.1 million to build the project.
