​​The project details of the new science and engineering building at UTSA. SAN ANTONIO – The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) will break ground on June 9, 2017, on a new science and engineering building, becoming the largest construction project in the UTSA history.

The project will have a $95 million price tag, which includes additional laboratories, classrooms and meeting spaces for UTSA students and researchers.

The Science and Engineering Building (SEB) will be approximately 140,000 sf with expected completion in June 2020.

Located adjacent to the Paseo del Sur on the southeast portion of campus, the new building will be east of the Biotechnology Sciences and Engineering Building and south of the Arts Building.

Every day, the UTSA campus has approximately 31,000 students that attend classes on campus.
