What’s in stor(age)? Big Tex’s 100K-sf Garden Oaks

​​HOUSTON – Big Tex Storage is developing a 100,000-sf self-storage facility in Oak Forest.

The structure is being built adjacent to the newly renovated Ella Plaza.

The state-of-the-art develo​pment at 3480 Ella Blvd. will open in June 2018 and will offer climate-controlled storage units for personal and business use.

Storage spaces will range from 25 to 300 sf with individual door alarms for increased security.

The property will feature 40 surveillance cameras recording on-site activity on a 24-hour basis, as well as monitors on every floor and digitally controlled access.​​

The property is being built on a lot shared with Ella Plaza and will be the first development in the area with a pedestrian realm along W 34th ½ Street, updated landscaping and new sidewalks.​
