​​​​full view of 1500 Louisiana buildingHOUSTON – Chevron Corp. is undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation at its downtown and Westchase buildings as part of its adjusting Houston’s footprint.

Building permits filed recently with the City of Houston show that Chevron has invested around $10 million in renovating its downtown office at 1500 Louisiana St., and an additional $2.5 million in renovating its 3901 Briarpark Dr. office.

The renovations are related to Chevron’s relocation of around 900 employees from its 28-acre Bellaire campus.

Chevron occupies more than 3 million sf in downtown Houston and roughly 200,000 sf in its Briarpark office.​​
