MARSHALL, HARRISON COUNTY – Hardware Distribution Warehouses Inc. (HDW) has announced its purchase of a 670,000-sf facility that will serve as the company’s new corporate headquarters.
The company will also consolidate its Houston and Shreveport, Louisiana, distribution centers in the new location, in addition to moving its headquarters.
Marshall is located 22 miles west of the current HDW corporate offices in Shreveport.
The new location will enhance the ability of HDW to deliver goods to more than 2,000 independent retailers in the mid-South by providing a centralized Texas location for western distribution, according to the company.
HDW is a member/owner of Distribution America—the nation’s largest network of independent hardware and paint sundries wholesale distributors
The company plans to complete the move and begin shipments from Marshall by September 2017.
